What we did for Barts Health

Barts Health

St Bartholomew’s Hospital (Barts), is a leading, internationally renowned teaching hospital based in the City of London.

It offers a full range of local and specialist services, which includes centres for the treatment of cancer, heart conditions, fertility problems, endocrinology and sexual health conditions.

At Bart’s London Hospital Arinite assists Steve Royce and his team with the completion of H&S Audits, Premises Inspections, Fire Risk Assessments, updating H&S Manuals and policies and procedures and delivers a wide variety of health and safety training.

“Arinite have provided an excellent service in H&S audits, Fire Training and Fire Risk Assessments within the Borough of Tower Hamlets numbering a large portfolio of Healthcare premises predominantly within the NHS. In recent years the provision of services expanded to City & Hackney and Newham Healthcare premises.

Fire training was always carried out in a very professional and friendly manner, was always kept to the point where the student was not unnecessarily burdened with swaths of legislation.

The Fire Risk Assessments were of a world class standard of uncluttered facts, unambiguous information and easily comprehensible which assisted in a logical clear action plan.”

What we did for GSMA

GSMAGSMA is a global organisation employing 400 staff with offices in London, Atlanta, Spain, Belgium, China, Kenya and India.

GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 250 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem.

Arinite was asked to assist the Facilities Manager with a review of H&S arrangements. The initial work included a presentation to CFO of the organisation with the aim of helping to convince senior management of the need and scope of health and safety arrangements and procedures. Arinite developed a presentation that covered:

  • GSMA H&S considerations, including legal, operational and demographic factors.
  • Where the Company should be in respect to H&S compliance.
  • Why this needed to be considered and the consequences of non-compliance.
  • How the arrangements and procedures would be implemented through proactive leadership, written policy and arrangements and effective systems to manage H&S risks.

“Appointed Arinite because of their knowledge of the industry and their personable team. I have found Arinite to be competent and efficient.”

Matthew Thompson
Global Facilities Manager ‐ GSM Association ‐ January 2015.
